Jack Bennett began his professional music career at age 9, singing in numerous productions with the Australian Opera whilst learning piano. Jack then attended a specialist music school in Melbourne and began his obsession with all things drums!

In first year college Jack won the open division of the prestigious, "Australia's Best Up and Coming Drummer Competition" at age 18, whilst studying with Australia's most respected drummers. This led him to touring the world for the next 4 years.

Jack has toured with the national smash hit tours of shows, "Grease!" and "Shout!" he plays regularly with The Australian Showband, numerous rock and jazz groups, and has played in over 20 countries in Europe and China.

Currently, Jack is very busy playing wise. He’s doing the brand new ‘rock opera’ style musical Hedwig And The Angry Inch (www.hedwig.com.au) and playing with the Melbourne based covers band 23 Past ( www.23past.com ).
