Roger Taylor, drummer and backing vocalist in one of the worlds most influential rock bands Queen.

He has a very "big" unique sound and is known for his brilliant drum parts that are intrinsic to the grand orchesration of Queen’s music. Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the all time great rock songs and Roger’s playing on this track completely signifies his approach to the drum set. Roger has contributed songs to the band's albums from the very beginning, composing at least one track on every album, and usually sang lead on his own compositions, in addition to playing most of the instruments, including guitar, bass and keyboard parts.

Roger has been playing Sleishman since 1993 and loves the full sound our toms and bass drums give him. Roger can be heard playing Sleishman on Queen’s ‘Made In Heaven’ album.

In 2003/04, we also supplied a full drum kit to the Australian production of the smash hit musical by Queen and Ben Elton, ‘We Will Rock You’. Roger and Brian May came out for the launches in both Melbourne and Sydney.

Don had the opportunity to meet Roger for the first time and was glad to hear that he still loved his original Sleishman kit. Roger then went on to place an order with us for an absolutely huge sounding 26”x18” bass drum.
